World Hunger Relief

Mission:
World Hunger Relief is "a Christian organization committed to the alleviation of hunger around the world.” Its mission is to “train individuals in holistic ministry that equips them to work with communities in developing sustainable farming techniques, educate those with an economic abundance on methods of conserving and sharing resources, and participate in local and international sustainable development programs."
Volunteer Duties:
Volunteers can give their time in a variety of ways, including working directly with the earth. Contact volunteers@worldhungerrelief.org for details.
Volunteer Requirements:
No experience required.
Training:
Necessary training provided on-site.
Time Commitment:
The best time to volunteer is Monday through Friday in the mornings.
Group Volunteering:
Groups are accepted depending on the season and workload.
Recommended For:
Students in the fields of agriculture, education, human services and others
Benefits:
Volunteers can gain hands-on experience in many different areas, learn about alternative agriculture techniques, and meet new people.
